Welcome to Federico's passion!

Most of you are probably unaware that Federico is an amazing artist as well as actor. Graduating from Manhattan's School of Visual Arts on a full scholarship, he obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. His meticulous style and attention to detail are obvious whether it be a portrait, still life or landscape. Heavily influenced by the Renaissance masters, Federico gives his compositions a modernist twist by creating sparse and rigid versions of reality. His paintings combine the old with the new, the whimsical with the serious.

Federico's artwork has caught the attention of people far and wide and his work is displayed in many public collections, including Warner Lambert Industries, Gillette Corporation, Schering-Plough Corporation and Sotheby's in Manhattan, as well as in the private collections as such luminaries as Geoffrey Holder, Donald Trump, Paul Hogan, the great blues legend Buddy Guy and others.

Limited edition prints (giclees) of some of Federico's fabulous artwork is available through Modern Renaissance Inc. at www.modernrenaissanceink.com. They are currently offering nine images taken from Federico's original paintings.

If you live in the New York area, by now you couldn't have helped but seen the fiberglass cows decorating the City during the summer of 2000. "CowParade New York" saw renowned artists paint the fiberglass bovines for charity and just recently auctioned a good portion of them.

New Jersey also participated via "CowParade West Orange 2000". Federico's contribution to the event was the wonderful "COWravaggio", which is one of the cows featured in a full page spread in "CowParade New York", a 180-page book dedicated to the New York and New Jersey event. Federico's cow is truly magnificent and is dedicated to one of his favorite artists, Caravaggio. CLICK HERE and check out pictures of Federico's "COWravaggio".
